“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom”

~ Aristotle

I’m Nikki – the heart behind Guiding Spirit Wellness.

I help people who feel stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally wrung-out find their way back to calm, clarity, and self-trust – using a blend of psychology, neuroscience, and gentle energetic work.

Here’s what I’ve learned after 25+ years supporting others: calm isn’t the end goal – it’s the foundation. When your nervous system feels safe, you can think more clearly, feel more like yourself, and respond to life with steadiness (instead of survival mode).

My approach is practical, compassionate, and regulation-first – real tools for real life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly do you do, and how is it different from others in your field?

I help people who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or out of balance reconnect with their inner calm, clarity, and confidence – so they can handle life with more ease and intention. My approach blends psychology, neuroscience, coaching, and holistic wellness (including somatic and energy-based tools).

Unlike one-size-fits-all programs, I give you practical, science-meets-soul tools that fit your real life. It’s not about “fixing” you – it’s about supporting the version of you that already exists, and helping you build on it.

Who do you typically work with, and what challenges are they facing when they come to you?

I often work with people (mostly women 35–55) who appear ‘fine’ on the outside, but inside they’re exhausted, stretched thin, and secretly questioning, “Is this it?”

They might be juggling work and family, dealing with burnout, people-pleasing, or overthinking. What they really want is to feel steady, not stretched, and to have the confidence to set boundaries and breathe easier.

What kind of results or transformation can I expect?

Many clients tell me they feel lighter, clearer, and more grounded – sometimes even after the first session or toolkit. Over time, you’ll learn to:

  • manage stress without burning out,
  • build resilience,
  • set healthier boundaries, and
  • take calm, confident action that feels aligned with who you are.

It’s about creating lasting calm, not a quick fix.

How long does it take to start seeing results?

It depends on what kind of change you’re looking for. Many people notice an immediate shift on a physical level – for example, feeling their body relax or their mind settle after a breathing exercise or using a Calm Card.

Deeper transformation – like breaking long-standing patterns, building resilience, and living with more ease day-to-day – is a gentler build. It happens as you practise and integrate the tools over time. Most clients notice positive changes within the first few weeks, and those shifts grow as the work becomes second nature.

👉 One important thing: transformation doesn’t just happen to you. The tools only work if you’re willing to show up, practise, and put them into action. The more you use them, the more powerful the results.

I'm juggling kids and a full-on job. How's this going to work with my crazy schedule?

I get it – the last thing you need is another overwhelming “should” on your to-do list. That’s why everything I create is simple, flexible, and designed to fit into the nooks and crannies of real life.

You don’t need hours of free time, special equipment, or a perfect routine. Most of my tools can be done in minutes – while waiting for the kettle to boil, sitting in the car before school pickup, or taking a breath between meetings. Small steps add up, and you’ll be amazed how quickly you start to feel the difference.

What kinds of support do you offer?

I currently offer support in three ways:

  1. Self-paced resources & toolkits — bite-sized, practical, and ready when you are.

  2. 1:1 coaching – personalised sessions for deeper transformation.

  3. Serenitude Membership (coming soon!) – monthly themes, gentle accountability, and a supportive community to keep you moving forward.

Right now, you can dive into toolkits or 1:1 coaching. If you’d like to be the first to know when Serenitude opens, make sure you’re on my email list.

Do I need to be in a certain mindset or ‘ready’ before starting?

Nope. You don’t need to be at rock bottom or have it all figured out first. Just bring yourself, as you are. I’ll meet you with compassion, clarity, and tools that help you take the next step forward.

I’ve worked with coaches before and didn’t get results. How is this different?

A lot of coaching focuses only on mindset or motivation. That can feel inspiring in the moment but often doesn’t stick. My approach goes deeper – we work with your nervous system, emotional patterns, and real-life context, so the changes are practical and sustainable.

Rather than chasing quick fixes or generic tips, we’ll focus on tools that truly fit you. Simple, flexible strategies you can put into practice right away – and keep using long term.

The best place to start is with a self-paced resource, like the Emotional Wellness 911 Guide or the Keep Calm Toolkit. From there, you can explore 1:1 coaching – and soon, the Serenitude Membership (coming soon!) if you’d like ongoing support and community.
